Check my next post. THIS IS NO JOKE! 🙏🏽 "The body is not made up of any alphabetical order it is made up of minerals and when those minerals have been depleted by the presence of disease, a disease ensues. So you replace them in a natural form – in the form of a plant because it is electrical. Why does it have to be electrical? Because the body is electrical. How could you feed an electric body dead food.? You just can’t do that! That’s not consistency.” - Dr.Sebi "One ingredient that is so missing for this journey to be understood and accepted, is “LOVE” but it is not the word itself. It is that electrical communication that is between you and the other person or everybody besides yourself. But to be able to reach there to accomplish that place that you want to be comfortable with, you have to provide yourself the environment inside of yourself and that environment can not be provided by eating meat. It just can not; it is impossible. When you put meat in your mouth, love leaves you! Why? Because love says you don’t like yourself. Because this stuff is not design for you to eat, your body was not designed to consume meat, milk, or cheese or butter and eggs. So love leaves! And leaves you hanging. Hating yourself and everybody else and everybody hating you. But as soon as you get off of it, you find that love enters and everybody that see you now is smiling at you." - Dr. Sebi #drsebi" #homeostasis #holistic #natural #organic #nongmo #minerals #health #healthy #gymlife #yoga #yogainstructor #personaltrainer #alkaline #alkalinewater #smart #intelligent #knowledge #heal #healthcare #understand #antiaging #hydrogenwater #antioxidants #wellness #strong #disease #diseaseprevention #science #biochemistry Repost: @beardynatural 🙏🏽

A full body split can be a very smart way to train if you are someone who is trying to lose body fat or leads a busy lifestyle and can't put in 5-6 session of workout per week. By training the entire body, you get the added benefit of elevated MPS which occurs by training larger muscle groups, so here you get maximum benefit. Additionally, the poor recovery on a caloric deficit is also taken care of by training less sessions per week. Your day's energy expenditure is also raised as you are doing less volume but working more of your musculature. Benefits -  1. Higher frequency, thus more elevation of MPS being compounded over time.  2. Lower day commitment per week.  3. Better management of 'out of gym' activities.  4. More athletic and functional style of training. Seriously, when is the time in your life you are only going to curl your bicep for some practical usage?  5. Less taxing on the joints as lower volume per session. #training #weighttraining #gym #fitness #fullbodyworkout #health #fit #getfit #buildingbetterbodies #science #bodybuilding #physique #coach #dumbbells #weightloss #muscle #instafitness #fitfam #nesta #nutrition #diet #fatloss #transformation #transform #getsetgofitness

Via @science_insider: Parts of the US will get to see a total solar eclipse on August 21. While the entire country will get to witness at least a partial eclipse, the lucky people who live along a 70-mile-wide streak will be able to see totality – when the moon crosses between the Earth and the sun, completely blocking out the sun's light. For those who plan to watch the total solar eclipse in person or via livestream, there are a few key stages to keep an eye out for as the moon makes its way across the sun. For more on the eclipse and how to watch it safely, visit our Instagram Stories. 📷: Rick Fienberg / TravelQuest International / Wilderness Travel #solareclipse #eclipse #glasses #stage #moon #sun #science #sky #Earth #totaleclipse #august #solar #corona #crescent #totality

#Repost @nasa with @get_repost ・・・ Our Sun was caught peaking over Earth’s arch and stretching its glorious light across the South Pacific on Feb. 16. Astronaut Scott Tingle captured this beaming moment while aboard the International Space Station ( @iss), which can also be spotted in the glow of daybreak. He posted the moment to social media with the modest caption, “Sunrise over the South Pacific.” The International Space Station and its crew orbit Earth from an altitude of 250 miles, traveling at a speed of approximately 17,500 miles per hour. Because the station completes each trip around the globe in about 92 minutes, the crew experiences 16 sunrises and sunsets each day! Six humans are currently living and working on the International Space Station conducting important science and research that will not only benefit life here on Earth, but will help us venture deeper into space than ever before. As of last week, the latest crew members had completed more than 100 hours of science, breaking the record for hours of research conducted. El gas caliente se está desacelerando, mientras que la materia oscura no. #Jupiter is my fave planet and also one of my fave tunes by the mighty @earthwindandfire 😍🎶 Lookit why #natureisthebestartist 🔁 @nasa ・・・ Mind-bending, color-enhanced swirls of Jupiter’s turbulent atmosphere can be seen in this Juno spacecraft ( @NASAJuno) image of the planet. Juno captured this picture of colorful, textured clouds in Jupiter’s northern hemisphere on Dec. 16, 2017 at a distance of about 8,292 miles above the cloud tops. Citizen scientists Gerald Eichstädt and Seán Doran processed this image using data from the JunoCam imager. All of JunoCam's raw images are available for the public to peruse and process into image products! Just visit www.missionjuno.swri.edu/junocam. Our Juno spacecraft arrived at Jupiter on July 4, 2016 with a goal to understand the origin and evolution of the planet, look for a solid planetary core, map Jupiter’s magnetic field, measure water and ammonia in the atmosphere and observe the planet’s auroras. Purple cabbage juice is a natural indicator that changes color in the presence of acids and bases. Acids turn it shades of red and pink, bases turn it blue to green to yellow. From left to right I added hydrochloric acid, vinegar, sprite, Lysol, tap water, baking soda, ammonia, and Clorox bleach. Did this with my class today and this is pretty easy to do at home too, just boil some purple cabbage to make the juice. #science #ph #acidsandbases #sciencenerd #chemistry #purplecabbage

"We must be learning if we are to feel fully alive, and when life, or love, becomes too predictable and it seems like there is little left to learn, we become restless - a protest, perhaps, of the plastic brain when it can no longer perform its essential task." ~ Norman Doidge - I am currently studying an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Linguistics, so much of the non fiction I read has to do with language and the brain. I am fascinated by the way our minds work and how we process the world around us - particularly in how we communicate and generate ideas with words. Here's a few of my favourite books related to the fascinating subject of our brains (with brief descriptions that really don't do them justice) : 🤕 The Brain That Changes Itself by Norman Doidge - an insight into the neuroplasticity of the brain (the ability to form new neural pathways) 🗣️ The Language Instinct by Stephen Pinker - a guide to how we process language, its structure, use, innateness and evolution 🙌🏼 Seeing Voices by Oliver Sacks - about signed language, how it has developed and its importance for the hearing-impaired community 🤔 Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman - the science of decision making and how we reason (I'm only halfway done with this but it's brilliant!) - I'd love to know what you study if you're currently at university - leave a comment below!
