Alright Mamas- I need advice. This sweet little boy has night terrors. He has had them since he was just a few months old. They got pretty bad when he was about a year old. Someone told us to keep his bedroom cooler at night and not let him get too hot and it may help. We did that and it kept them at bay for about a year. About a month or so ago they came back with a vengeance. He started having them every single night. So then we started going into his room about a half hour before he usually would have one and we would just stir him a little. Give him a kiss, re tuck him in. Enough to wake him a tiny bit but still keep him asleep. That worked for about a week and a half. Now they’re back again and it’s heartbreaking. He literally just starts screaming but we can’t console him because he isn’t really with it. He is still asleep but he is just crying and yelling no. I’m looking for recommendations on things to do to prevent them and also how to make them pass quicker if he does have one. They tend to last about a half hour right now. I’m also looking for any reading material on them so I can better understand what he is going through during one of them. Thanks in advance Mamas!!
