TaKiyah Wallace is Founder and Executive Director of Brown Girls Do Ballet( @browngirlsdoballet ), a philanthropic movement that seeks to celebrate and increase participation of underrepresented populations of girls in ballet programs. She is also a former Gifted-Education teacher for a large urban school district as well as Owner/Photographer of Some Sweet Photography, the Pass Thru Gallery (Dallas, Texas) and currently serves at the Chief Operating Officer for Trilogee Foods LLC.
TaKiyah's work has been featured amongst such outlets as BuzzFeed, Wedding Nouveau, Huffington Post, Washington Post, Black Girl Long Hair, and Madame Noir, and as an actress, her voice and likeness have been used in ad campaigns for Dickies, Ford, and The American Heart Association to name a few. She holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of North Texas and a Masters Degree from Texas Christian University. Her mission in life is to empower women and girls.
