I feel like this post is much more of a diary entry for me and how I'm feeling on my road to recovery from #amenorrhea Moving Less and Eating higher calories to purposefully gain weight and up body fat while being surrounded with headlines that tell you to do the opposite is one thing. Then there's the physical discomfort of being beyond full. I've spent the last 6 years looking after my body. Maintaining a healthy weight, eating clean, fueling my body with the right foods, Moving my body every damn day - to now doing the opposite. And not particularly by choice either. Lost 1lb at weigh in, I was a bit disheartened at first as I’ve tried so hard this week! Ive ate healthy, gone to the gym most days, and walked so much more so I was expecting a big loss. I feel there are three main components in any exercise program to build lean muscle and lose unwanted body fat. These components are resistance training, cardiovascular exercise, and proper nutrition. All three are equally important on achieving your goals in fitness. If one is not executed consistently, the other two will suffer and so will your progress. Don't get me wrong; to assume we can be perfect, 100% of the time will just be setting ourselves up for failure. Our goal should be to follow our programs the best we can day in and day out most of the time. The longer the time you stick with something the better you will become at it. 💪🏽🤪💪🏽🧡

For people struggling to stick to their diets, it’s probably because you’ve restricted yourself on what you can eat. Try these three things when you’re eating low calories to ensure you burn fat whilst enjoying it, staying satisfied, and most importantly - happy: - 1.) Eat more. allow yourself to eat a little more once or twice per week, especially carbs in order to keep your hormones in check and ensure you stay sane. - 2.) stay active. Most people (including myself) get “hungry” because we’re bored. Go to work/school, go to the gym, and go out more. This will keep you more occupied on activities rather than eating and you’ll also burn extra calories whilst not over-consuming - 3.) No restrictions. There is no need to restrict yourself of anything as long as you eat in moderation and you eat a healthy ratio of macros. LAS EMOCIONES Y EL TEJIDO FASCIAL Cualquier trastorno psíquico como el estrés, el miedo, el enfado, la ira, la depresión, o cualquier emoción negativa produce una tensión y acortamiento del tejido fascial. Tales circunstancias provocan dolores y molestias en la misma zona o en otras partes del cuerpo mas alejadas, debido a la tensión reciproca de membranas o tejido fascial. Todas las fascias están unidas y forman una perfecta interrelación en todas partes del cuerpo. Muchos bloqueos mentales a lo largo de nuestra vida, hoy en día todavía tienen repercusión en nuestras membranas craneales internas y en muchas partes del organismo. Tensiones profundas e internas que están constantemente, las 24 horas al día activas, tensas, agotándonos y degenerando los tejidos e impidiendo la libre circulación de los líquidos. Este hecho tan real como desconocido nos va creando, formando o cultivando un montón de posibles enfermedades y verdaderos puntos débiles de salud. Estamos llenos de tensiones internas, tensiones fasciales, que normalmente son provocadas por un traumatismo físico o por un bloqueo emocional o mental no asimilado correctamente.
