Wat een ontdekking: ‘lezen’ en breien tegelijk, het kost wat maar dat is het zo waard: Storytel, en er staan inmiddels een stuk of 15 (luister) boeken op mijn virtuele boekenplank. Ik brei aan de Nola Clovhe (muts), ik heb hem eerder in het rood gemaakt en deze kleur leek mij ook leuk, je breit de band met een twist en daarna pak je steken op voor het muts gedeelte. Can we have a new Christmas tradition please? Waffles with melted chocolate & whipped cream every tree-decorating weekend🎄 for brunch, thanks! I found that hot chocolate + whipped cream isn’t very harsh to my blood sugar, providing it’s 70% chocolate with no added sugar. The waffles are 50/50 wholewheat buckwheat and barley flour (so not gluten free but with a better glycemic index) with instant yeast and one spoon brown sugar (to help the yeast make the dough fluffy) + eggs & milk of course. Yum! 💙

Looks brilliant when swirled. AROMA: Imagine a fish that smelt of hops and tropical citrus, then slapping that beautiful smelling fish across your face. That’s exactly it. TASTE: Troical and bitter with a bowl of hops on the side. OVERALL: This is a damn fine beer. From the look of the bottle to the way it looks and smells in the glass, along with the smooth taste, this IPA has it all. Well done NZ. RATING: 10 / 10 Would I buy it again.......... Yes and yes. Spent two hours in the kitchen for this meal prep. Made four different dishes, each twice (equals 8 dishes🤓). I don’t like to eat the same thing everyday so I always come up with 4 meals. I also leave room for some sponteanous dinners/lunches🤩 Back from left to right 1) quinoa risotto with kidney beans 2) roasted chickpeas with quinoa and greens (leek and green peas) 3) curried barley with mushroom-capsicum mix Front left from right 1) asian style wok with cabbage, broccoli and capsicum. Will have it with brown rice vermicelli 2) sweet potato as snack (sitting on an environmental friendly beeswax wrap💚 from @apiwraps ) 3) bliss balls (made three kinds - coconut almond/chocolate almond/carob-cashew) All the veggies are from @opentaste.sg 🙌 it does take some time to prep and also organise your groceries but for me it’s worth it☺️ get’s me ready for the week and I know I’ll get a good meal even if I’m in a hurry! From a video I shot for @goodcravings YouTube this week. 📹 Kutya is a traditional Eastern European Christmas dish, one of twelve that are prepared on Christmas Eve in Ukraine. 🇺🇦 Originally it is a porridge made of sprouted hard wheat berries boiled in milk for few hours with dried fruit, nuts, poppy seeds and honey added. I made my small improvements to make dish faster to prepare, plant based and more nutritious. For that I: 1. Used @central_market 5-grain blend (kamut, rye, wheat, oats and brown rice) that cooks only for 10 minutes. ⏰👍 2. Swapped regular milk for almond milk to make it plantbased. 🌱🌿 3. Substituted poppy seeds with chia seeds, as poppy seeds are harder to find and chia is more nutritious anyway. 😌☝ 4. Used dried apricots, golden raisins, and raw walnuts added to the porridge. 🍇🌰 It is an excellent breakfast and even a preworkout!
