Bloated & Inflammed
That pretty much sums up how I feel after I eat poor quality wheat. Which in America that's like everything. I cannot eat a piece of (low quality) wheat without waking up the neck morning with my fingers swollen, my stomach protruding out a bit, and my joints achey like my low back, shoulder or elbow.
It's a common thing nowadays all these allergies, reactions to foods that never existed before, and if they did, it was rare. Have you ever asked yourself why this flux of "illness" occurring?
It's is all in the quality of our foods and how everything has become genetically modified. Genetically modified so much our body doesn't recognize it or it harms our body (without us knowing).
A simple example is over the many years wheat has been changed. The ancient Einkorn or emmer wheat has changed so much it is now triticum arstivum. 🌾The modern wheat now has a seed head so heavy we had to make the stalk shorter.
🌾We created a wheat that cannot live without human assistance (ie fertilization)
🌾Wheat elevated blood sugar levels more than virtually any other carbohydrate...
🌾increases estrogen in males
The list can go on and on
So for those of you who get frustrated when people are against bread or "wheat"... for me, it's because of the way it affects my body. And it's what I know about the poor quality of wheat.
