Finally the countdown of my top 5 love movies ends today .
And at No.1 we have(please insert ****drum roll*** )
FUN FACT: The film was originally named 3000$(dollars) since that's how much Julia Roberts' character charged Edward for a night .
Can you imagine 3000$(what a stupid simple name). But after they got the rights to the hit soundtrack 'Oh pretty woman' the film's title was changed (Hallelujah)
Now, if you say you haven't seen this classic and you were around in the 90s, then we can't be fwends.
This film holds so many memories for me.
It was the first time I saw the beautiful red head actress called Julia Roberts(her smile made me love her ).
I was so in love with their on screen love and chemistry. And I was also jealous that she had Richard Gere to herself(LOL)
Also it was the first film that made me to believe in this thing called LOVE.
I can go on and on about PRETTY WOMAN (AKA 3000$)
because for me, it's everything a love story should be (Fairytale).
It's a modern update of Cinderella, but with more goofiness and real chemistry
A prostitute and a wealthy businessman fall hard for one another, forming an unlikely pair. While on a business trip in L.A.
Edward (Richard Gere), who makes a living buying and breaking up companies, picks up a hooker, Vivian (Julia Roberts)to ask for directions to his hotel. He ends up hiring Vivian to stay with him for the weekend, the two get closer, only to discover there are significant hurdles to overcome as they try to bridge the gap between their very different worlds.
This movie is everything, everything to me. Let me stop here, so I don't start telling you my favourite scenes and then I'll never stop.🤣🤣 There you have it my top 5 love movies.
