We have a new fund we have created this year at Tiny Paws. It is in memory of Mom's everywhere and inspired by Kim (Tiny Paws founder) and her mother Maureen’s love of adopting rescue dogs.
As we know, it is one of the rights of passage as adults to lose our parents. At the beginning of this year, Kim lost hers. Kim’s mother loved her Pug Chihuahua, “chug” pictured in the middle. Often at Tiny Paws Pug Rescue, we take in dogs that we cannot say no to. Last week we took in a Pug and also a French Bulldog named Becky, who had a wicked leg fracture (pictured here.) The shelter asked us to take her along with a Pug and we could not say no. We worked with NorCal Bully Breed Rescue who took on the cost of her surgery at U.C Davis. This unique fund will help us save mixed breed and help support dogs that may not fit in to our mission statement but who at the moment need a safe place to land and medical attention. So, In memory of Mom's everywhere and inspired by Kim's Mom, Maureen Kathryn LaBarber, this new fund will specifically support mixed breed Pugs and dogs we frankly cannot say no, to such as Becky pictured here. If you feel it in your heart to donate, please go to www.tinypawspugrescue.com. Thank you!! #dogrescue
