I was doing some fall cleaning and I found my photo album from my travels to Germany in 1994. I took a pic of this print, remembering it was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I remembered this Lake was on the German-Austrian border. We only stayed a few minutes to take pictures. A few minutes of research and comparing it other posts on Instagram I now know it is Lake Plansee in Austria. A place I have to go back to.... #plansee #needtogoback #planseelake #germany #serenity #lakes #alps #austria #crystalwaters

The Côte d'Azur offers some of the best cycling year round. It's quite hot in the summer so it's probably best to cycle in the nearby mountains or sit in a wine bar and have a glass or rosé wine or champagne. I'll be back for some training again in 2018 and planning to spend 2-3 weeks in Nice, one week in the Alps, finally climbing Cime de la Bonette and maybe some nearby mountains. Also Provence is planned again, a few days again @chateaudemazanoff where I already spent some great days last year. Perfect place to combine cycling and bubbles. And yes, if I am fit enough, I'll do the La Marmotte Alps on July 8, 2018. And the Tour de France is coming to Alpe d'Huez again... When you book a cheap hotel but it means you have to walk through a forest and down a mountain to get into town 🇦🇹
