So, this was A LOT of food. But here is why. With intermittent fasting, I ate my last meal at 7:30pm last night and had no food after that. Then, I went to the gym at 10:30pm and busted my butt for an hour and a half. Then I went to sleep (still no food since 7:30pm). Woke up at 7:50am this morning and drank some BCAA. Ran a PR 5k at 9:30am. Still no food since last night at 7:30pm. Then, @hello.fit.jess and I busted our butts in the kitchen and made a super high nutrition, high calorie, high deliciousness meal. It was just what we needed, finished cooking at 1:45pm. We will have a very small, healthy dinner tonight, because most our calories came from this meal . . I had a cheddar bagel with cream cheese. Hash browns had onion, garlic, zucchini and yellow squash. Quiche had eggs, a dash of milk, sausage, a whole onion, tons of mushrooms, handfuls of spinach, broccoli and cheese. Too much cheese again, but we were going for calories on this. Jess had whole toast instead of a bagel, so hers was significantly less, but I also went hard at the gym last night, so I was in a severe deficit. We have been drinking BCAAs like crazy.
