These are reps 98, 99, and 100 with 315 today. They aren’t pretty. This time four years ago I decided to make a change in my life. I never dreamed I would be able to bench over 300 lbs. Lisa Lease hit a few milestones during her linear progression training program from the last few weeks. First one was a 100lb bench press and the second was a 225lb deadlift. She went on to hit 240lbs afterwards which surpassed her goal of hitting 225lbs prior to joining the gym. She now has her eyes set for a 315lb deadlift!

Quick rip before a few brews and some food. ➖ Quick 10 as I’m acclimating myself with conventional for the long haul. These feel good but I do need to focus on starting lower. The lower I can start the stronger and more efficient my pull is. ➖ My grip was chit tonight. Conserving my grip strength for the few pints I’m about to kick back with the boys. All of the wives are up north terrorizing wineries so we’re heading out for some grub and soda pops. ➖ Cheers to the weekend fam but just remember, there ain’t no rest for the wicked.

I decided to do the deadlifts I missed this monday but I accidently did some extra sets... oops. So I’m saying fuck the weight for now and focusing solely on the efficiency of my movement. Throwing more weight on the bar every session while trying to fix my technique in hopes of getting back to my normal strength isn’t going to fix the problem it’s only going to make revert back to what I’m used to. Sticking with weights I can control perfectly and doing a ton of sets until the changes become second nature. Really happy with how these looked and felt. .
