Still swooning over this dress from last night 😍
Out of curiosity - I am by no means a makeup artist (I have a lot of respect for the women/men who know the technical side of makeup artistry), but I know makeup formulations and I know how to have fun with it. All the eye makeup I’ve been using for the past couple months (including last nights look) is all @veisebeauty experiments before I release them into the wild. I do a lot of testing on myself before I release anything, because I have insanely sensitive, reactive skin, and if it doesn’t bother me, then it gets the go ahead to continue testing on others.
Now, would any of you babes be interested in seeing behind the scenes videos, experiments, how to’s, tips and tricks (including skincare) stuff like that? I’m pretty minimalistic when it comes to how much time I’m willing to commit to doing my makeup. This look (if I wouldn’t have kept dancing in between) Probably would have taken 35-40 mins total, start to finish, including hair.
The idea behind all my formulations is that they’re highly pigmented, highly buildable, and formulated without the use of FD&C Lake Dyes which are still commonly found in “natural” cosmetics. I’ve been experimenting with everything from eyeshadows, to mascara, to setting powders, lip gloss and primer. I made a promise to myself that when I run out of a mainstream product that I love, I have to formulate something that’s just as good, if not better, but without all the BS.
So, lmk if this is something you’d get value from. I will preface with saying that over the next few months they’ll probably be sporadic and inconsistent as I’m building my team at @veisebeauty and moving headquarters, but eventually my goal is to setup an actual studio space at HQ and do weekly videos for you beautiful babes ❤️❤️
