Today's training was a little different. Went for a walk through the Bouddi National Park. It was good cardio with all the steps and hills. This week my body has been pushed to limits. Cardio is the first to go. Specifically, #running. Last Saturday afternoon, I ran 8.26 miles. I’ve done a #halfmarathon and this was the spoils, I was casually wearing for 90 minutes and up to two hours on weekends. This is when I feel my best, when I have the space in my schedule to get awesome workouts on my day off. In the past week, I got very busy. I might be feeling the same pressure as my clients, who are working more than 40 hours a week and also trying to squeeze in workouts. There’s every excuse not to do it, and just because this is my business, doesn’t mean that I don’t make every excuse for myself. The weather is horrible. It’s the kind of weather that you have to say, “F this cold, I’m doing this”, Or it will break you. My bike is filthy with salt and dirt from the street, there’s black ice and all the bridges, it’s so dark dark dark so early. It’s easy for #NewEnglanders to get #depressed this time of year it’s easy to make every excuse not to run outside. I tell the people all the time that #Cardio is the first to go. I try to sweat a little bit every day, be a jump rope or running. When you don’t do that, running is an EPIC pain in the ass. My point is that I didn’t run this week, and it’s the longest I’ve gone without a good run in a very very long time. And then yesterday, Thursday, January 18, 2018, I tried to go out. I bitched and moaned, and then when I finally made it out, I ran just under 3 miles. The run was awful. 9 out of every 10 #workouts will make you feel better but this was the 10% but didn’t. I was depressed that my 3 miles were so bad, it was just less than a week ago I ran over 8. SO. I’m going to run for the next 14 days to restart myself, feel free to join me. I find that #twoweeksstraight of anything starts a habit. I will update my process on IG.

They seem to forget protein can come from many sources. - 🙇🏼‍♀️Looking at it from a facts point of view animal v plant, animal proteins offer the full magnitude of amino acids don't. But before anyone starts to throw darts at my page you can totally obtain all the protein you need from plant sources so long as you are eating widely varied diet. - 🙎🏼With both animal & plant sources of protein they both offer us different benefits, so for me I want all the benefits of both so I choose to eat a diet including both animal & plant. If that's not your choice then more power to you & total respect for your choice.👍🏻 - 😎Just to say that I've used 100g as an example, I'm not saying this is or should be your target intake, that would be up to you to figure out.
