The 2018 #lamarathon will mark my 8th marathon of my life. It started as a bucketlist item and became a catalyst for growth. Every race simply stretches my vision on what I'm capable of and what I desire to be.
My favorite part about it is that it takes months and sometimes years to properly train and perform your best. Raceday will reflect the habits, discipline, and mental toughness of training. It separates the strong from the weak, the doers from the dreamers, and the committed from the uncommitted. Every step is a constant reminder of the work you put in in the training cycle. When I train properly, I love it. I'm reminded that I did what it takes to win. When I train improperly, I still love it. It serves as a reminder of what I need to do to be successful. 🏃
You have to show up every day and put in the work, even when you don't feel like it. While it's just a race, marathons teach me success principles for everyday life. Since, "how you do anything is how you do everything". My wish for you is that you find something that will push you challenge you, and grow you. Whether it be spiritually, physically, in a business, or with your family. Maybe all 4? Wouldn't it feel amazing to set out on a mission, achieve it, and inspire others to do the same? That's the goal.
