Be where your feet are. —————
I was watching interviews conducted by our @globalparker with @teamcanada Olympians ahead of Pyeongchang and that quote stood out. I’m so accustomed to the usual responses from athletes (for the team, 110, leave it all out there) which made it stick with me even more.
And the athlete who said it? He had a football career before his Olympic career ever began and explained using the saying to focus in the gym; being where your feet are for the allotted time, present in that moment.
It’s always refreshing when something thought provoking comes in unexpected places, this was one of them.
Ps. This is campsite H53 in @killarneyPP, frozen lake and snow covered, in all its glory. We said we’d make it there, and we definitely did.
