My beautiful parents celebrate 40 years of marriage today in gorgeous Akaroa New Zealand. I am thankful for the example of a Godly marriage that they set before me and my brothers. They always put our family first, making sure we had everything we needed and filling our lives with rich experiences. They were (and still are) examples of generosity with their time, their money and their gifts. I saw them open our home up countless times to people. What a day for legs! Thank you @ashnordman for kicking my butt, literally, and forcing me to push myself. Today I knocked out an hour spin class with @katytexasdollface, who left my legs like jello! Then to finish it up with a lower body workout that I’m going to feel the rest of the weekend. My shirt was a few shades lighter when I got to the gym, but after I left it was soaked. Struggle Satday 😅....I had to take the last 2 days off from doing cardio since my legs just couldn’t handle it...My trainer @yourchoiceyourfuture thinks it funny to murder my legs on leg day then send me on my way 🙄 like i don’t use these legs in everyday life to WALK WITH 😒...anywhoooo I had to get Day 4 of my sprints in Since I have to do AT LEAST 4 days a week so I had to push thru today...Baeeeebahhhhh whoooooooo lawddddd lmaoooo...that was the real test but ain’t no quitting or stoppin...I fought my way thru them sprint & im happy I did...We Werkin Round Here 🙌🏾

So in today’s tips for arms… 😅 we’re going to talk about weights. It’s not about how much weight your using but rather how you use the weight. If your swinging your weights when you curl, chances are your utilizing your back, shoulders, everything but your ARMS. - I get a lot of judgement for using low weights when curling, but no one ever asks what I’m actually doing. Try this: Keep your shoulders pinched by your sides, curl half way up, hold for five seconds, curl all the way up and come back down to the half way point, hold for another 5 seconds, then come all the way down. That’s one rep. - What you’re doing is just creating another way to achieve time under tension. No right or wrong way to this, just have fun with it. Promise you, your arms will grow is to up that time under tension. Tag someone who’s still swing their weights ☠️. Ps. Totally took a nap this afternoon and threw off my timed nutrition... (haven't took a nap since, idk when 🙊). Needless to say, when I woke up I really didn't want to workout. But when I saw all the girls in our accountability group that completed their workouts, I really didn't want to be the ONLY one to not get it in ... plus it's not like I had to drag my lazy butt to a gym at 8 pm.... I just put my shoes on, drank my all natural pre workout and threw my #favorite @champagnepapi shirt on + got it done! and feels so good knowing I have a community of girls lifting me up when I just don't feel like it. Cause let's be honest, even though im a fitness coach... we all have those days 🙃 so #thankyougirls #loveyouall 💞
