#tbt We know that as we get older we'll start to lose people little by little. It's part of the deal, y'know? It's life. Knowing it doesn't make it any easier though. My grandfather passed away last night and I'll miss him dearly. I don't like remembering as I saw him last though, a frail version of his former self because my grandpa (Papa Nacho) was a great and wise man. He often quoted philosophy and we'd have long talks about God and religion. He'd write me poetry and teach me lessons about using your head before your fists (especially because I was such an angry kid🤣). He tried to fill a void after my dad passed and as a matter of fact would tell me stories of the conversations they would have. It was cool I got to know my dad through my grandfather because they were such good friends. He taught and inculcated in me a strong work ethic. He use to tell me that we needed to prove to the world that our culture is as hard working and intelligent as any. And y'know, I appreciate that you were around my entire life. You saw me grow up into the man I'd become and I hope you knew that you helped me get here. Oh my "Pato". I hope and pray you could see me now. I hope I made you proud. I can't wait to see you and Mama Mella together again, young, full of life surrounded by all of us, your grandkids, nieces, nephews and kids. Telling you stories of everything we did and the great times we had only now we'd make new stories and have new adventures. I look forward to it all and it can't come soon enough. I love you. #paradise #grandparents #grandpa #dad #family #jw.org #itwontbelong #chef #life #celebrate #fitchef #makingyouproud #loss #newsystem #mom #father #jw #proud #missyou @fiti350g @sergioparra @anapatricia_12 @patty1520 @michellmoreno.gu @kaariinna31 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
