A nice head shot, see the feet drop! Knowing where your shot has struck can be a massive help too. A head shot bird will almost always drop its feet, wings out and tumble. Lung shots are those that look like you've missed only to drop half a field away "weve all had them" they can also tower "ie" climb in height before dropping. If a crow is vocal when you hit it and comes down wings out often to one side or spiralled can be the sign of a broken wing and you need to get out after it and dispatch it right away if you wish to carry on shooting, crows are almost tellepathic, studies have found that corvids like us humans can communicate with there eyes!! They are the only other animal Barr us, to have the ability to do this, they don't need to be vocal to be alarmed. Ever had crows come so far then get the hell out of there?? Somethings wrong and you need to find it quick experience will tell you where to look!! Being good at shooting crows is an art form and you could be the picasso of crowing if you learn to follow these rules. When i see my followers taking my tips and putting them to good use it shows me that these people are serious about what they do and that's a good thing, this is where real countryside management starts! .
