First time EVER smashing triples at 95kg. A couple of months post injury and it would seem I am ALREADY stronger than ever. His is for a number of reasons. Relentless commitment to rehab and prehab work. Taking the time to improve all aspects of my training including flexibility, mobility and technique as well as strength. Having the best in the business in your corner helps too. Many thanks to the master coach @simonbergner_strengthcoach for continually pushing me to do better and @powerlifting_physio for her amazing support and expert knowledge. Her willingness to help me when she had no reason to do so has been an absolute god send. One of my fave lunches mum&I make over the weekends, when Im home fro college: quark dumplings and beef steaks 😋 i’m nice enough to give you the secret recipe 😄😚 ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Recipe for the dumplings: - 500g quark/curd cheese - 5 heaping tbsp of wholegrain millet (can use flour as a substitute) - 1 egg - pinch of salt Mix all of it together and let it cool in the fridge for an hour. Then, with the help of bread crumbs (use wholegrain) roll it into a ‘sausage’. Make sure it’s compact and dense so it doesn’t fall apart while cooking. Wrap it into a kitchen towel (use a clean one 😄) and cook in boiling water for 20 minutes. Take them out and cut into slices. Top with fried wholegrain breadcrumbs (on coconut oil 😛). 🥩For the meat: Buy some good quality grass-fed beef steaks. 🥩 Pan fry them for 3 minutes on each side for a medium rare steak. Add spices, such as salt, pepper, paprika. Remove the steakz from the pan, use their juices left in it to make a sauce. Add a little bit of water and tomato paste, oregano, basil and a tbsp of greek yogurt/sour cream. Stir well, wait a few minutes, then add the steak back in and crack an egg on top, cover and let it cook. 🍳 yum 🇸🇮🇸🇮 skutni cmočki: - 500g nepasirane lahke skute - 1 jajce - 5 debelih zlic pirinega gresa - malo soli Dobro premesajte vse sestavine v posodi in pustite stati v hladilniku za prb 1 uro. Nato s pomocjo drobtin oblikujte dve velike debele klobase 😄 morajo biti precej kompaktne, tako da dodajte drobtine, če niso dovolj. Da se ne bo med kuhanjem razpadlo. 🙈 nato zavijte v kuhinjsko brisačo in kuhajte v vreli vodi nekje 20 minut. Vzemite ven, narezite na kose in posujte s polnozrnatimi popraženimi drobtinami 😀 (na kokosovem olju :p)

Het harde werken betaald zich langzaam uit. Nu een maand - 3 per week krachttraining met een elke week weer een uitdaging in gewichten en repeats. Ik maak snel progressie (begreep ik van mijn PT). Elke week weer een tandje meer. Hij is zichtbaar trots na elke training en ik dus ook (al realiseer ik mij het niet altijd) tot ik een ‘boks’ of dikke vette high 5 krijg na de training. Mijn letterlijke ‘luie reet’ (door zittend werk) verdwijnt. Strakke benen. Toename in kracht. Simpelweg te merken aan je kleding. Ik ben trots op mijzelf. Mijn kids krijgen de strakste mom ever. Owja, @hedzerfaber vind het ook leuk.
