So in today’s tips for arms… 😅 we’re going to talk about weights. It’s not about how much weight your using but rather how you use the weight. If your swinging your weights when you curl, chances are your utilizing your back, shoulders, everything but your ARMS.
I get a lot of judgement for using low weights when curling, but no one ever asks what I’m actually doing. Try this: Keep your shoulders pinched by your sides, curl half way up, hold for five seconds, curl all the way up and come back down to the half way point, hold for another 5 seconds, then come all the way down. That’s one rep.
What you’re doing is just creating another way to achieve time under tension. No right or wrong way to this, just have fun with it. Promise you, your arms will grow is to up that time under tension.
