One of the BEST ways to grow your back thickness! I always try incorporate this exercise into my ‘pull’ or ‘back’ sessions throughout the week.
I generally hit reps within the hypertrophy rep range, pyramiding down in reps and up in weight. Example; 5x15,12,10,10,8
BUT recently I entered a strength phase of my training, so my current lat pull downs are in the lower rep ranges.
Example; 4x7,6,5 -
For optimal muscle growth, try mix it up between your hypertrophy and strength rep ranges to hit a variety of muscle fibres. The more muscle fibres your stimulate while training, the more change you can create within the muscle 💪🏼
