Wanting 6 pack abs. When I started this wasn’t the plan. The plan was to treat my body with kindness and respect. I wanted to treat my body better, nourishing it with good foods and making it stronger with regular exercise. _ I was willing to accept my body as it was. I was willing to take these healthy actions even if my body never changed. That was the starting place for my body to change. _ I looked at others who had what I wanted. They demonstrated kindness and self compassion. They were fit. They seemed to have balance around food. I looked for clues as to how they got it. I asked for help. _ There was no quick fix. I didn’t get abs over night. I made mistakes along the way. _ I was consistent in taking caring actions for myself. I was consistent with my food 80% of the time. I was consistent with my exercise. The word of the day is #Consistency Sometimes it can take weeks, months, or maybe even a year before you see your consistency pay off. Whether it’s personal, finances, fitness- whatever you’re striving towards, remain consistent and diligent and you will hit your goals. My business did not become successful overnight. It was years of consistency that led me to the point of being a 6 figure earner. It was setting reasonable and attainable goals that kept me pushing for the next milestone. Totally overslept this morning and was very discombobulated (big word 😂) I had very good intentions of getting up and going to the gym at 6am but Luke kept me up all night with his heavy breathing and sniffly nose 🙄😩 so by the time my alarm went off I snoozed it about 5 times and went back to sleep...ooops! Needed to be in Sheffield for 9am and had to take Alf to Finningley and didn’t get out of bed until 7:30! So it was as quick on the go breakfast this morning to eat in the car! A bagel and a coffee 😍 Fill shift at uni today 9-6 so coffee is definitely needed, Hoping we get an early finish though so I can go to the gym on my way home.
