I mean nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than being sent pictures of kids recreating these recipes and having so much fun! - I honestly never intended for this but it makes so much sense. I am still a kid at heart and I like to make fun food that brings out my inner kid! And as a result, so many parents have started making these recipes for their kids! The number of overweight or obese infants and young children (aged 0 to 5 years) increased from 32 million globally in 1990 to 42 million in 2013. In the WHO African Region alone the number of overweight or obese children increased from 4 to 9 million over the same period. The vast majority of overweight or obese children live in developing countries, where the rate of increase has been more than 30% higher than that of developed countries. If current trends continue the number of overweight or obese infants and young children globally will increase to 70 million by 2025. . . Failure . For a short period of time about a month or so ago, I literally wanted nothing to do with health and fitness. I was busy with work and school and didn’t want to make the hour and a half effort to get a workout in. I was “too tired.” . The last 2 weeks have been spot on. I’ve been training hard, following my diet, getting to bed at a better time for my early mornings, and have also incorporated new things into my life: reading a chapter a day and listening to podcasts again . This video was taken this morning at 4:45am as I was heading to the gym and I stopped and realized how beautiful it is. The lights. The peaceful roads. The rain. It’s been almost 2 years since moving down to Auburn Hills and I’m so glad that I’ve done so. The two-lane Sandusky roads aren’t for me . Muchas personas que comienzan a entrenar por primera vez o retoman el entrenamiento después de un largo período de inactividad, se preguntan ¿Cuándo veré resultados?. Una pregunta difícil de responder debido a que todo va a depender de tu rutina de entrenamiento, alimentación y estilo de vida. Quizás en este momento piensas “pero llevo un mes entrenando diariamente, comiendo saludablemente, tomando mis suplementos y proteínas, durmiendo alrededor de 8 horas diarias, no fumo, no bebo alcohol y aún así no veo resultados significativos... No hay que desesperarse. Lo ideal es que le prestes atención a esos pequeños cambios que ocurren en tu cuerpo diariamente y te darás cuenta como tu condición física va mejorando. Por ejemplo; fíjate que seguramente al ir al gimnasio levantaste con mayor facilidad el peso que la semana pasada difícilmente pudiste mover, o lograste durar más tiempo haciendo cardio, o quizás tu coordinación mejoró al realizar ciertos ejercicios o inclusive tuviste mayor flexibilidad al ejecutar tu rutina de estiramientos. Enfócate en esos pequeños cambios, para que cuando vuelvas a pensar en los tan esperados cambios, allí estarán.
