SI JOINT REHAB - PART 1 of 2.🌹 . I have been dealing with SI (sacroiliac) joint pain for over a year now, and I've spent quite some time creating a rehab routine with different physiotherapists. Since every low-back or SI join injury is quite different, I’ve selected some movements that may be applicable to the majority. . Of course, I would always advise you to seek professional advice first (if you can). If you choose to try some these, take it slow and listen to your body. STOP if you feel pain! 🙅 . Keep in mind that I’m showing you an abundance of movements so that you may pick and choose the ones that work best for you. 💜 . Routine Part 1☝️: . 1》 Light Stretching: For most low back problems, the worst thing you can do is lie in bed or sit all day. Simply walking can do you wonders for reducing pain. I like to do stretches that open up my hips and make me feel more mobile. Play around with different stretches, focus on what feels good, but don’t push yourself too hard or hold them for too long. . 2》Myofascial release: This paired with light stretching will help to provide some temporary and immediate pain relief. But these two will NOT solve SI joint pain. Here I am using a lacrosse ball to massage my glutes. As with the stretches, don’t go crazy here. Max 3 minutes of this, going slow but not too deep, hitting multiple tight spots, and breathing throughout. . 3》Core strengthening (the typo in the video hurts my heart I'm sorry 😂): If you’ve never heard of a posterior pelvic tilt, it’s time to learn. This is what I’m demonstrating in the first core strengthening exercise, where I’m simply tightening my core and tilting my pelvis so my back is flat. I hold this for about 5 seconds, then release and repeat. Get this down before moving on to the other two. If you’re in a lot of pain, ignore the dead bugs and the plank and just stick to the tilt. Core strengthening will be key for your recovery. . Part 2 is all about the glutes and the quadratus lumborum, and will be coming soon. 💜 Feel free to message me if you have questions. 💜

🍑 11 day SQUAT PROGRESS!! 🍑 The picture in purple leggings was taken a week and a half ago. I was focusing on moving as much weight as I could without worrying about form. I did 4 squats at 135lbs. . Over the past week and a half, I’ve been focusing on form and squatting deep rather than trying to lift a bunch of weight. . The picture in the red leggings was taken Monday. I started by squatting the bar and I worked my way up in weight, paying attention to my form. I ended up squatting 6 reps at 135lbs! . For me, that’s a record without being spotted! Hard work pays off guys, don’t quit, you got this!

Aw lads I can't deny it any longer, I'm sick 🤒🤧 sick, sick 🤢 I have a stomping migraine since Sunday, my head is splitting and I woke up with a fabulous head cold to go with it 😟 I wasn't going to train today, I was adamant, but I seen a few clips the girls had put up of training and it spurred me on to go get it done 💪 I have to be honest I have been feeling bad about myself the last few days, I go through phases of feeling really inadequate with the weight I'm moving compared to other people and it gets me down from time to time, I almost feel like giving up when it happens, like I'll never reach that point but I try and think as positively as I can and usually turn it around in a day or two 🤗 I feel anxious about posting my clips when others are posting the same thing but with twice the weight and begin to feel really silly about mine until I remind myself that I promised myself when I started blogging to be honest and show the reality of things not just the instaperfect stuff 📸🎬 To show my true story and the reality of things and just how long it actually takes. I need to work on mindset sometimes and get around these feelings but then other days I feel proud as hell of my achievements it's human nature I suppose 🤔 Anyway my granny always said the truth will set you free and I'll keep my story true to me and keep plodding along ❤ xxx

Właśnie wtedy zaczęłam budować moje wymarzone "kuleczki" ☺ zmiana nawyków żywieniowych, nowy, cięższy trening i cierpliwość pozwoliły uzyskać mi taki wlasnie efekt. Nie jest jeszcze wymarzony bo do takiego mi daleko, ale widząc progress chce jak zawsze więcej i wiem, że się uda. Czemu to piszę? Żeby pokazac wam, że warto. Warto czekać i rzetelnie pracować 🤗

You know what’s crazy? The difference between the successful and happy, and those who aren’t, isn’t a lack of intelligence or qualification. It’s FEAR. The successful are brave and push fear aside. While the rest of the world is held back by fear of failure, which is ironic because by simply not even trying, they are CHOOSING failure be default. Fear is the only thing stopping us from achieving our goals. You can either be brave or be afraid, but only through being brave, can we be free. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Food for thought.
