Success in any area really just comes down to a series of choices. Are you going to do what you need to do today to push yourself further, or not? You can’t “kind of” do it. My biggest priorities have always been my career, my relationship, and long-term financial success. In these areas, I will always do the shit I have to do, even when it is the LAST thing I feel like doing. Period.
I have a bad habit of putting my health at the end of that list. If I’m honest with myself though, I know I can make time for training without neglecting those other priorities. I’ve spent the last several months re-dedicating myself to my physical health, and honestly every other area of focus in my life are improving along with my fitness.
Sometimes all you need to do is take a step back, evaluate yourself, and get started back on the right track. #dowork
