Thursday Training Tip- Make sure you include some single leg work in your training program. We all have a tendency to favour one side over the other, which is rarely picked up when performing bilateral exercises such as squats and deadlifts.
Performing single leg exercises, such as single leg Deadlifts, lunges and pistol squats not only ensures that both legs are equal in strength, but also gives you a way to ensure that balance, coordination and core control are worked on both sides.
Here you can see John working the SLDL and assisted pistol squats as part of his movement prep before Deadlifts.
