It's been 9 months. I've had slip ups..I felt down.. I felt up I gained people and lost people along the way. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to build up stronger. My main goal was to get under 200. Which I accomplished a few months ago..my diabetes is in control, I can't say I'm happy but I'm not sad I'm proud of myself it was truthfully a way to get out of my head..and a heartbreak. But I give no credit to that heartbreak I give all the credit to be better and stay motivated even when I want to give up.. I never thought 9 months later I would be where I am. Weight is just number it's how you feel it's how you look . I'm far from done...but far from square one. 🚨🚨FIX YOUR SQUAT IN 7 SECONDS🚨🚨 - - With these 7 easy steps👇 1️⃣Keep your feet flat on the ground with the weight on your heels. Your toes should not lift up as you do this! 2️⃣Keep your hips below parallel. 3️⃣Ensure your back has its natural arch, and is relatively straight. Do not over arch! 4️⃣Focus on aligning your neck with your spine. The next should not be hyperextending i.e. poking forward. One trick I find that makes this easier is retracting your shoulders blades back. 5️⃣Another way of avoiding neck issues is keeping a forward focus. Don’t look up and don’t look down. Just look straight ahead! 6️⃣ Keep your chest up. One way to ensure this is taking a deep breath in and tightening your core as you go down into the squat. Then breathing out on the way back up. And repeat! 7️⃣ Finally keep your knees behind your toes. Some of you may be able to extend your knees in front of your toes without any pain or issues because you may have extraordinary ankle mobility. But, the majority of us are not so fortunate. Weet je met welk woord ik echt een beetje moeite hebt? Balans. . Balans staat voor mij voor stilstaan, 'in je comfortzone blijven.' Een plek waar je naar mijn mening jezelf niet moet begeven als je vooruit streeft in het leven. . We willen allemaal van alles het beste hebben, maar hoe ga je van alles 100% hebben als je maar 100% focus hebt om te verdelen? . Voorbeeld; je wilt stoppen met roken, een goed fysiek neerzetten voor de zomer en je algemene gezondheid verbeteren. Dan zul je wellicht die gezellige club vrienden die zichzelf elk weekend klemzuipen en platroken in de club toch echt wat minder moeten gaan zien. Niet omdat ze niet deugen, maar omdat het doel wat jij voor ogen hebt simpelweg niet rijmt met hun vrije tijdsbesteding. . Wat gebeurd er? Je creëert een (tijdelijke) disbalans in je leven. Je maakt een tekort in je sociale leven om meer focus te leggen op je eigen doelen. . Ik zeg tijdelijk, want een nieuw sociaal leven kan ontstaan op het moment dat jij je nieuwe healthy lifestyle omarmt. Echter is dit een mild voorbeeld van een niet zo extreem hooggegrepen doel. . Maar hoe groter je doel is, hoe meer disbalansen je moet creëren in je leven om dat doel te behalen. . In plaats van werken naar een gebalanceerd leven, stel prioriteiten die jij belangrijk vindt. Dit kan ook zijn; meer tijd met familie om de banden te versterken. Whatever floats your boat. . ✖️DON‘T LET ANYTHING STOP YOU✖️ Einen schönen Dienstag Sportsfreunde 🙌🏻 Nach den letzten Oberkörper- und Unterkörpereinheiten habe ich doch gerade mal in fast allen Muskeln meines Körpers leichten Muskelkater 😅👌🏻 Da kommt der Restday heute wie gerufen und nach 3 Tagen Training ist die Pause wohl verdient und zur Regeneration das Beste, was ich meinem Körper geben kann. Und passend zum Thema was gut für den Körper ist: Ja, ich essen auch mal ein Eis am Wochenende! Und dennoch sieht man meine Bauchmuskeln 😱 Ein Eis und macht fett und ein Salat nicht schlank meine Lieben!! 🙈 Wer mehrmals pro Woche Sport macht und sonst auf seine Ernährung achtete, der kann sich auch mal etwas gönnen ohne dick zu werden 😀 #balanceisthekey 👌🏻 In diesem Sinne, habt einen erfolgreichen Tag meine Lieben ✌🏻 . by @dreamteam_ftnss
