Taki dziś wpadł obiadek ❤️🙈 ➡️ Ziemniaki - podgotowane około 20 min w skórce, potem pokrojone i przyprawione (przyprawa do ziemniaków i ostra papryka). Pieczone w piekarniku w 180 stopniach około 20 min, na papierze do pieczenia wysmarowanym olejem kokosowym. ⏺️ ⏺️ ⏺️ ➡️ a'la nugetsy - pierś z kurczaka pokrojona na większe kawałki i zamarynowana w jogurcie naturalnym z jajkiem i przyprawami (ostra papryka, przyprawa do kurczaka, czosnek). Pozostawiona na godzinę w lodówce. Następnie obtoczona w rozgniecionych płatkach kukurydzianych i smazona również w piekarniku razem z ziemniakami. I wish my metabolism was as fast as my anxiety 👈🏼 Saw this on @insta.single and had a good chuckle because "Truuuuuuuuuuuuu" - - My girl @randikennedy_ always inspires me to be more open about the topic of anxiety. Addressing mental health is such a huge part of my mission and yet I sometimes find I shy away from talking about it. I think it's because I'm supposed to be an authority in health/wellness, and yet I still struggle with my own health and that can feel embarrassing. - - I don't often tell people I have manic-depression and severe anxiety because there's still a harsh stigma attached to it. Hell, I was dumped because of it once! It's a scary, vulnerable thing to admit. But I have to be an example and a leader. I want to end the stigma, I want people to be open and comfortable about it and that starts with me! A lot of us hide behind a smile while fighting a battle no one sees, and I want people to feel seen and listened to! 🙌🏼 - - I've managed my symptoms medication-free, through 🔅improving my gut health 🔅getting IV/injectable vitamins for better absorption 🔅eliminating/reducing certain common food allergens like gluten & dairy that irritate the brain 🔅incorporating a mindfulness/meditation routine & better sleep 🔅 exercising regularly 🔅 eating micronutrient rich foods, taking vitamin D, fish oils and zinc/magnesium 🔅 accepting that my brain is a little different & that's okay 🔅using CBD (sometimes THC) oils - - I'll always be a mental health crusader! No one ever needs to feel ashamed or suffer alone. I will continue to educate and strive to open the doors wide open on this topic. It is not hopeless; there are so many ways to feel more even-keeled. Taking medication doesn't make you a quitter and don't ever let someone make you feel bad about it. But I feel it should be the last option exhausted. There are so many things we can do nutritionally/lifestyle wise to help our brains! Since I get this question day and night I thought to address it. 😛No, I wasn't always following a plant based diet. It just came out of nowhere. I was never a big meat eater to start with but I used to consume a lot of diary products. 🤢I felt always sluggish, my belly seemed bigger than my shape would have required it etc😬 so I decided one day to leave all the diary behind. Then the meat thing came not long after that. One day I was preparing my usual shrimp and veggie dinner to cover my protein intake 🙈 and that disgusting smell of the roasted meat and well all as the rest of the ugly things come with the shrimp got me. Since that night on I haven't consumed any sort of meat. Happy Friday yall! So yesterday marks six weeks since i took the plunge. I'm down 31lbs which is pretty good considering I stalled from week 3 to week 5. I've gone from a 20/3xl to a 16/2xl and some 1xl. I'm noticing the most changes in my tummy and face (yaay!) My doctor has cleared me for a full diet and unrestricted physical activity. I still can't eat more than 2oz of food at a time(restriction is real ya'll), so most of my protein sources are soft foods (yogurt, cottage cheese, tuna) and liquids. I'm consuming 90-100gm of protein a day and 64-70oz of fluid a day. I focus on macros instead of calories. I've incorporated probiotics and benefiber into my diet to help with digesting the high amount of protein. I've been checking out some gyms and plan on joining one this weekend. My energy level is slightly above where it was pre-op. My diabetes is in remission. I've noticed significant improvements in my other chronic conditions. I haven't taken any of my meds since pre-op. Overall, I'm feeling pretty DAMN good about my progress and health! I was getting so hangry prior to this, but this totally satisfied my hunger. I recently notice there aren’t that many wild caught smoke salmon. @wholefood only had their Whole Catch brand and another company were the only wild caught, both were sockeye salmon. . . Where do you all get your smoked salmon?? . . Deets: toasted @traderjoes sour dough bread, organic spinach and avocado (and of course I sprinkled some @traderjoes everything but the bagel seasoning and red pepper flakes), @wholefoods wild sockeye smoked salmon, indulged on some creme fraiche topped with organic dill.
