LOVE that my flexibility and strength training in my barre/hiit classes we’ve created at @barrereaction help me to improve and advance my skills in teaching dance.. the two go hand in hand and it’s an amazing benefit for both myself and my dancers! I have more knowledge of muscle control, lengthening and toning than I did when I danced professionally, as well as more strength and flexibility than I have EVER had at any point in my life. So woke up to a bummer of a scale reading 👎 Showing a 1.4 increase since last week. However. I'm down in measurements so it's not a total loss.
I just want to speak to those who are either starting out or follow me and haven't experienced a negative week yet, I attached two graphics as well because sometimes increases just aren't explainable. I'm bummed but not mad. I'm not mad because I followed my plan this week to a T. Stayed within my macros, stayed within optimal ketosis all week, did not cheat once and stayed mostly under 10 carbs a day. Sometimes it's just not explainable or idk, could be water weight. You just don't know. That's why I always keep those 2 graphics around to remind myself. The ONLY difference is that I haven't been to the gym in two weeks, could that be it due to my son and I having the flu. Could that be it? Idk. Sometimes I think there's something to the saying #ditchthescale lol. Especially on days like these.
But I won't let it deter me and I am down in inches so that's a plus. Do I like posting these updates? No. Would I rather not? Yes. But I would be rather hypocritical if I just posted my losses and good news on my page as that would give anyone following my journey a false pretense of what a true keto journey actually is.
