So today was the first day of the challenge. I had my @inbodymelbourne scan done. I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t surprised by the results. I knew I was unhealthy. I don’t think I knew how bad it was. Whilst my weight was obviously a concern in relation to my proportion of body fat to muscle max what really scared me was my VF, or visceral fat score. I got a 16/20. This is the score for the fat around my organs like my heart. This really made it hit home. My mum had a heart attack fairly young and seeing this has given me some crazy motivation. Today I went for a 45 minute walk on an empty stomach and I also did a group training session. Whilst my results are what they are now and I can’t change my starting point it just means that I have more room for some amazing changes. So here is to the next 21 + days of loosing body fat and VF and hopefully maintaining muscle mass in the process.
