Excited for the @nyrr Fred Lebow Manhattan Half Marathon in Central Park this weekend! It’s going to be a bit of a disaster for me because my mileage has been down and a nasty chest cold has completely halted my running for a week. The goal for this one: finish. 😂

The whole is greater than the combined parts. While it’s true that we have within each of us an inexorable will to carry on in the face of adversity, a richer world opens when you realize you don’t have to alone. Sport teaches us about synergy when sharing in our training, recovery, and racing makes all of us stronger, faster, wiser, more gracious than we would be on our own. We work together to achieve bigger gains than we would have as individuals. What is learned in sport becomes a universal salve if we remember we have it. It is easier to carry the load with others. Primeiro treino interno aqui nos Estados Unidos. Uma corrida meio sem saber o que está acontecendo porque a esteira marca em milhas e eu preciso converter pra quilômetros mas aí tem que correr e fazer conta de cabeça ao mesmo tempo e acaba complicando. @fhand and i have been eating my flourless muffins as snacks ALL week on repeat. i used greek yogurt instead of eggs and they caved in sooooo i just throw some pb and pudding in them and its like a lava cake 😹 gotta be inventive! 👏🏻💁🏼‍♀️

hi party peeps!  sorry i've been missing for the past couple of days, everythings fine but my main squeeze had surgery this week to give him a new ACL so we've been in recovery mode over here going back and forth between doctors and pt and the machines they gave us for home.  he's doing very well but i haven't been on my game with workouts/nutrition lately, which is why i'm so excited to start my next program on monday, incredibly grateful that my gym is virtual and i'll be squeezing in my workouts at home incase he needs me, and blessed that we have the ability to eat clean, healthy and mostly organic meals during his recovery.  love ya babe 🖤
