Just some squats @ 90kg I have so much trouble with my squats it really gets me down because as I get heavier I keep reverting back to my old butt wink style squatting 😂 which means It feels so dam hard and hardly hitting depth, just need to focus on keeping form but not too much emphasis on the tilt which I’m trying so hard to make it less obvious. I was wondering why it felt so heavy 😂😂 I LOVE doing drop sets. This is how I've put a lot of good size on... I always use drop sets. Pick up the heaviest weight you can possibly move and do 5 or 6 reps there, drop it by 50% and go to failure, then drop it by another 50% and fail again. Sport specific innovation 🙌 . Landmine Twist-to-Press is a great innovation specific for Shot Put. Focusing on tension through the off arm creating a ‘pulling’ movement into generation of the delayed twist of the upper body, into the ‘press’ or equivalent ‘throwing phase’. . day 254. new squat PR of 145kg/320lbs! at my last powerlifting meet in 2016 I missed my last squat attempt at 314lbs. I remember feeling so much regret and constantly replayed the squat to see where it went wrong. I never imagined that I would beat it later, as a converted weightlifter squatting high bar. I have one more heavy squat day next week, and the goal is to get as close to 150kg as possible. #sandbagger @hviiibrandgoods @earthfedmuscle

1st place, and another nationals qualification. I have to be honest, I walked into this a little too confident. I made mistakes and under performed. The runner up, @stephenjsiebert , came after me with a vengeance. His performance improved dramatically since the last time we competed. I was beyond impressed, and honestly, he made me extremely nervous. The difference in placing came down to one rep on the last event. It definitely wasn’t a boring day. I have to keep training hard because I know Steve is going to continue to improve at a ridiculous rate. Thanks to @team_tom_gym for the great event. Thanks @iron_warrior_strongman for letting me hang out with them; awesome group of people. And of course a huge thanks to my wife for being massively supportive throughout my training and the event. Today was the last workout together with Karri ( we did bench press) before competition for Winter Iron Warrior next Saturday . i finally hit TWO PLATES! or should i say "Double_Plate" 225lbs at 150bw i dont care if for others thats light but just hit my goal! and thats what this page all about! _______________________________________ for months and months now ive been telling myself that "no you cant do two plates!" or "its been a while since you squatted heavy you cant hit that!" or "your gonna hurt yourself"or anything just to get in my head but last week i literally told myself Fuck it im either hitting two plates early next month or this saturday and i did! yes i know its not that heavy for other people but to me its been my goal i wanted to hit two plates since last year but ive been holding off but finally i realized that the only thing that was standing in my way was my damn self! to any one thats out there thats struggling JUST FUCKIN DO IT! 💪🏻 you got it!
