864 miles in 365 days A Mile To Mend The Mind Day 365 of 365 days of running HELPING BRING AWARENESS to mental health and lack there of. Thank you Ed Foley for being my push when I didn't want to run, thank you for supporting this with me till the end. 16 hour shift at work and you made it home to make my last run with me. ( Mind you Ed isn't a runner and ran the whole 1.25 miles I needed tonight) Some battles seem larger than life itself. This battle to help fight the stigma that sounds mental illness is far from over. I am a mere pebble thrown into the ocean, but even the smallest of pebbles can create a ripple and everyone who comes into contact with my ripples will benefit from that change, directly or indirectly, known or unknown, large or small. There are many of us making these ripples to rid the stigma, to demand help for mental health. Eventually we will be a mighty wave and change will happen. So many of you that have been loving and supporting, by kind words, a thumbs up, a share of my page, a cheering voice, a private message, sharing your story, sending love and inspiration. So many walked and ran with me either by my side or from across many states. This is how change is made, this is how compassion is found this is our voice. Together we can be strong and unstoppable. This is how we can help those who don't have a voice or are afraid to use it to be heard. I've gone through 365 days of pictures today and so many of you still by my side whether in person or in sprit. This journey isn't over. It has just begun.
