HIYA from Sri Lanka!🇱🇰I've been getting some very strange looks from people here when I walk into the breakfast room with my gym clothes on. So... working out on holiday?🤔
Some people think it's crazy, but I find getting a workout in on holiday is the best way to start my day off💫I have more energy, I feel much fresher and it makes those all inclusive food tabs that bit more worth it🐷but I keep it short, no more than 30 minutes! Because I'd rather be frolicking outside on the beach🐠☀️👙Next time you're on holiday, give this approach a go, and let me know if it gets you feeling better than ever in paradise🌴...
I like to start each day with a big compound lift and heavy weights; deadlifts, squats, bench, overhead press or hip thrusters. 4 sets for 6 reps at max effort, or whatever feels best for you. Go hot and heavy, then finish with 15 minutes of HIIT. Sprints on the treadmill or a bodyweight circuit is all it takes🏃If your hotel doesn't have a gym just attack some HIIT in your room (maybe make it 20 mins if you're like me and eat dessert twice a day🙋🏼) Get your metabolism up, your sweat on and when you get home you'll feel just as fresh as when you left💦😎
