Looking at the pictures, by now you must have got an idea how amazing the day was!
Like every other sunday this one was also really special for us. This time Shades Of Happiness Foundation tried to do something different for our kids and hence we took them out for a movie Padman. Isn't that exciting?
This event was organised by 'Those in Need' especially for the kids who have never been to watch a movie before. All they seek to do is to spread awareness about menstruation and they believe that awareness from the beginning will make our kids more responsible in the future.
We all gathered around 8 am in the morning then we took our children to Cannaught Place at PVR for the movie. It was all together a different feeling to watch such a movie with our kids. Our purpose was to make them understand the relevance of menstrual hygiene and health.
We intend to create awareness about menstruation as much as we can and that could happen only when we start talking about it.
So, after the movie, our volunteers gathered with the kids to have a discussion about the movie, to know how exactly they feel about it and their views.
It was such a fun-filled day and a great learning experience for all of us.
We would like to thank Abhishek Saini @sainiabhishek_tin, who organised this event for our kids.Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful experience with the team of Shades Of Happiness Foundation.
Also, We would like to thank all the volunteers who joined us for the day.
