When it’s you verses the bar 👹 . Something I have always struggled with is getting over the fear of the bar! But somehow the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 I have started to get over that fear.... it’s only been nearly 3 years 🙄 hopefully will mean this year I can get those numbers up 👆 . Strength day 3 was cleans and the workout was for coaches 30th and well worth giving it a go! (In my story) 💪

I feel like I've neglected doing core, which terrible because I love doing it. Tonight I decided to wear my sweat belt for extra fun lol. Usually when I do this workout the next day I'll wake up wondering why my abs are so sore lol, thinking I did something different with my abs. 👉🏾Exercises in video👈🏾 •Transitioning planks- 10secs ea. For 1 minutes •Super Banana 5 secs ea. Side •Jump squats on Spring Step 2 sets of 10 I usually do jump squats just because I love how they make my legs burn. But you also have to focus on tightening core and balance. Two days in a row was brutal! I really struggled to get out of bed at 5:40 this morning 😴. But I did and by the time I got to the gym I was ready to go! After warming up on the Erg we tackled MLK ! And it didn’t hold back. Nevertheless its smashed now and I’m feeling good, if a little knackered. So today I weighed myself...said I was going to give it month but there were some scales at the gym...temptation got me! I couldn't be prouder of my personal achievement. I'm not even 20per cent reached yet but I'm making progress and moving in the direction I've planned. I've kept hard core consistent with eating every 3hrs ish...cut out crap ( had one cheat meal and portion of chips 🙄) exercise 6 days out of 8 and just drank water and protein shakes. Taken my vitamins and most importantly all of it is making happy and healthy. If it weren't for having a great and also consistent gym partner with me I know my effort would of slacked! Have had a shocker with food and training the past 3 days. Not sure why but thinking I’ve been emotional eating (missing hubby and trying to fill a void - it totally doesn’t work) so upon reflection and meal planning for the next week I am ready to get back on the wagon and keen to smash out a killer arms and back session tomorrow morning. Wednesday is training day! And another set up squats and burpees. My legs are killing me since last week’s squats and another set of burpees in the wod. Unbelievable! 😂 but I managed and I am happy! Stop trying to rush to your destination, Your journey is as beautiful if you take a moment to feel & see it. It doesn’t matter how slow or or fast you’re progressing, each body takes its own time, you’re doing so great if you’re not giving into the temptation of having that ‘just once spoonful of ice cream’ or skipping the gym ‘just today’ cos you’re not feeling it. Or actually even if you are, you still are doing so much better than what you did last week or month or the entire year. Just keep going without getting overwhelmed about how long you have to go or how much more time it’s gonna take.
