*DOMESTIC ABUSE* . I attended a conference today on Child Protection and Domestic Abuse. Some of the facts and figures astounded and saddened me. It did not make for easy listening but it's so important it's discussed openly and not allowed to be swept under the carpet. It may be common with 1/4 women and 1/6 men experiencing it in their lifetime but it is never acceptable. . For those who have escaped domestic abuse, be that physical, emotional or other form, I salute you. I hope the next chapter of your life is safe and happy and allows you to heal πŸ’œ . For those who may still be living with domestic abuse, please know that no matter how you feel, or how you are made to feel, you are not alone. You are important and you matter. You are not to blame. Happy thanksgiving my Queen. I'm frozen and I can't move, I'm sitting here wishing this weren't my life. Everyone is getting ready to start their day and I'm just here.... stuck. I miss you so much mom and time isn't making it any better. Today was your favorite because I would literally make you whatever you wanted. Cooking just isn't the same, you always encouraged me to try new things in the kitchen. My kitchen is now a sad place and I can't cook with the same love and passion. Back at it, slowly but surely πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ β€’ 15 minutes, as many rounds as possible: 10 x squat @ 50kg. 10 x bench press from floor @ 2 x 20kg. 60 revolutions of skipping. 10 x tricep dips @ b/w.
