🕯Biliyor musun? Merkür güneşe en yakın gezegen olmasına rağmen en sıcak olanı değildir. Güneş gördüğü zamanlar 425 santigrad dereceye kadar çıkan ısısı güneş görmediği zamanlar -180 santigrad dereceye kadar düşebilmektedir. Fakat Venüs, barındırdığı bulutlar nedeni ile daima yaklaşık 500 santigrad derece sıcaklığındadır.. #solarsystem #stargazing #astronomy #stars #constellations #meteor #meteorshower #geminids #nightsky #december #whatsupthis #hubble #science #universe #telescope #cosmos #galaxies #earthfromspace #happyanniversary #astronautlife #spacetoday #jose #nature #satellites #hurricanes #hurricaneseason

A little blurrier than I’d have liked, but I’m pretty happy with my first attempt at Messier 42: the Orion Nebula (edit: ANY deep space object actually). Single 25 second exposure balanced and sharpened in Lightroom through a Nikon D7200 via a Celestron 8se Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Yes, this is the color seen through a long exposure, not edited. The Orion Nebula is visible to the naked eye on a clear winter night. It’s the “blob” of stars you see beneath Orion’s Belt, and is the brightest Nebula visible to us. Totally double-spamming this to both my Instagram accounts 😬 #nebula #orion #space #DSO #deepspaceobject #deepspace #telescope #nikon #celestron #astronomy #amateurphotography #astrophotography #universetoday #astrophoto #astrography #nightsky #nightscaper #starphotography #starscape #longexpo_additction #udog_sky #landscape_captures #awesomeearth #natgeospace #starrynight #longexposure #astro_photography_ #ic_longexpo #fs_longexpo

#Repost @astrodaily1 ・・・ How far away is space? Closer than you might think. Space is defined as "the void that exists between celestial bodies". This void has no absolute starting point, due to the fact that our atmosphere has no firm boundary. However, an altitude of about 100 km (62 mi) is the conventional start of outer space. It is remarkable to think that in your personal vehicle, you could easily drive this distance in less than an hour. It can be an unsettling thought that our atmosphere is so incredibly thin relative to the space between planets. We owe all our lives to this minuscule film of gas that protects us from the relentless dangers of space. Understanding the size of our atmosphere should give you a new appreciation of it, and drive home the importance of protecting it. Reposted from August. Messier 97 the owl nebula in Ursa Major, 2,030 light years away from earth. I like the way it looks like the eyes of an owl. A very faint target which looks like it could do with longer exposures than 12 seconds. I am going to try 15 second exposures next session or maybe up the gain. A little experiment needed I think. The Owl Nebula (also known as Messier 97, M97 or NGC 3587) is a planetary nebula located approximately 2,030 light years away in the constellation Ursa Major. The nebula is approximately 8,000 years old. It is approximately circular in cross-section with a little visible internal structure. It was formed from the outflow of material from the stellar wind of the central star as it evolved along the asymptotic giant branch. The nebula is arranged in three concentric shells, with the outermost shell being about 20–30% larger than the inner shell. The owl-like appearance of the nebula is the result of an inner shell that is not circularly symmetric, but instead forms a barrel-like structure aligned at an angle of 45° to the line of sight. #astrophotography #astronomy #owl #nebula #owlnebula #messier97 #messier #deepskyobject #deepsky #sky #nightsky #nasa #esa #space #stars #ursamajor #telescope #longexposure #asi120mm #zwo #universe #explorer200p #instagood #lookup
