We’re so proud that our hotel is located in one of the most famous buildings of Old Riga!🤠Here in the middle of the 17th century a German physician B. Fischer founded a pharmacy, which attained a Royal status. The image of a lion on the facade is a symbol of special support from King Charles XI. Another famous relic - on the facade at the level of the third floor – a horseshoe. According to one of the versions, when Peter I was riding down the Kalku Street, his horse lost a shoe. Peter went to a blacksmith, who lived in a neighbouring house, and while he was tying up the horse, he threw the old shoe over his shoulder. The horseshoe stuck to the freshly painted facade, and the owner of the house decided to leave it for good luck. #relaislechevalier #relais_le_chevalier #lechevalier #history #riga #latvia #oldriga #newhotel #boutiquehotel #building #traveling #tourism #instagood #interestingfacts

There’s something about arriving in new cities, wandering empty streets with no destination. I will never lose the love for the arriving, but I'm born to leave. #wanderlust

. . . #fromthemoontotheearth #moon #earth #history #book #booklover #bookstagram #literature #literatura #Seda #Seta #AlessandroBaricco #mycity #bar #coffee #restaurant #thedscvrr #Barcelona #breakfast #travel #traveling #traveller #travelgram #traveladdict #travelgirl #travelphotography #lifestyle #chillmode #philosophy #ninaroma

Chicago from above 🏙🏙🏙 standing on a glass platform and seeing the skyline from the second tallest building in the Western Hemisphere was kinda scary for someone who doesn't like heights! 😆

#keepitsimple
