Today's training was a squat. 5 sets. 4RM 233.8 lb. Executed 2 sets at 230 lbs. I'm surprised I did as well as I did, and I was able to achieve greater total tonnage from previous cycle. Today my work day ended up extending out a little bit longer than anticipated. 13 hour workday converted into a 15 hour work day. With an hour sitting in the car before my workout.
Today I realize I'm starting to get burned out on tracking, and I may just start intuitively eating for a little bit of time. I do this from time to time, and it's typically until my body fat percentage gets out of control. Then I'll start tracking again to cut back down. I'm just extremely obsessive about data. I think it's the inner scientist in me. The more data points I have the better I can correlate data. Now mind you this isn't for anything globally, it's more just for myself, but that's where I'm focused on Improvement.
Scrolling through my data, I have a tendency to be leaner when I do intuitively eat. Instead of looking at specific macros, eat the foods that I feel like eating. Now mind you, I'm making adequate choices. Good food choices. Not even a bunch of junk, making sure I'm eating protein when my body's hungry for it. I'll never understand how people have a hard time meeting all their protein, it seems to be the one thing I crave the most!
On a personal note, it's funny how change can have a tendency to be intimidating and anxiety-ridden. And life is absolutely nothing but change. Then there's a huge change that happens in life, and it brings you only peace. I'm starting to realize everything life takes away from you, it's to prepare you for what it's going to give you. Just when you think your world is being destroyed, it's actually being enhanced. When you've proven you can handle more responsibilities, life will give them to you. No sooner. Keep pushing to make yourself better. Make yourself stronger. Not just physically, but in every way imaginable.
