I really hate treadmills, I find they serve no purpose but since the cross trainers were occupied & couldn’t use one for my warm up this morning thought I’d try something else I remember doing in a PT class that killed me lol. I jumped on a treadmill & reclined it to 10% & just did 10mins of strides as if I was trekking up a hill haha. Yep it worked, heart rate straight up & calories were burning but didn’t want to push myself cause of my asthma. I remember exactly how I felt in that first picture. Sam and I had gone away for our 6th dating anniversary (2 years ago) and I was wearing a loose and dressy shirt and a scarf to feel comfortable in my skin that night. On a night I wanted to feel beautiful celebrating our love, I didn't. That's an awful thing to go through. And I felt that way for a long time. A few weeks back I promised you a transformation after my cleanse. I felt disappointed. I tore myself apart. And I didn't share it with you. Why? Because I lost 2 lbs and 1 inch. Big whoop, right? After some serious evaluating, I realized a few things. 1. I lifted through my cleanse. (Don't do that.) 2. Because of my lifting program, my body shape changed. (I'm learning to accept this.) 3. Maybe I didn't need the cleanse in the way I thought I did. Today's #transformationtuesday is to show you that the # on the scale doesn't mean 💩. I weigh nearly 10 lbs more NOW than I did in the first picture. BUT NOW I'M HEALTHY. & still struggle with Flamin' Hots. Don't rely on the scale. Take pictures. Because these pictures speak volumes. Interesting yoga session this morning. Dealing with the nine year old who kept interrupting to have a giggle at some of the poses was bad enough.
